My husband never filed his 2006 tax return and obviously needs to. We gave all his information to a friend/accountant who has literally gone AWOL and will not return calls, etc...and won't return his paperwork! He's an artist so in that paperwork were all his deductions for that year, etc... gone.

The IRS almost certainly owes HIM money from that year, so it's not like he owes them big money. But I'm afraid of getting into trouble and I'm not sure what to do.

Does anyone have advice?
