A 1099-Misc is not required to be issued to your independent contractor who has incorporated himself into an S Corporation. This in my opinion is consistent with my understanding of the IRS's 1099-Misc requirements.

Thus, you are not required to issue a 1099-Misc to your Accountant who has incorporated into an S corporation.
