What is the Alabama Reemployment Act of 2010?

The Alabama Reemployment Act of 2010 Act (2010-557) "provides an incentive for employers to create jobs for unemployed individuals by allowing an income tax deduction to employers who hire certain unemployed persons.

The Act allows an employer to take a deduction on the employer’s income tax return of up to 50% of the gross wages paid to an unemployed person hired by the employer."
