Upfront Mortgage Insurance

Is FHA upfront Mortgage Insurance able to be deducted on itemized deductions fully with being prepaid at closing or does it have to be deducted over the 84 months or term of the loan whichever is less? It seems this should be tax deductible fully in that tax year due to being paid upfront fully?
