Can a self-employed model deduct invisalign as business expense?

Taxpayer is a model who receives 1099 income. She paid $4500 for Invisalign dental correction (removable braces) and would like to deduct the expense as a business expense on her schedule C. She claims that her teeth were shifting and she needed to correct that or her work as a model would have been affected.
Is this an allowable business expense for a model?

both ordinary and necessary then sha may claim it on sch c of 1040. An ordinary expense is one that is common and accepted in her business. A necessary expense is one that is helpful and appropriate forher business. An expense does not have to be indispensable to be considered necessary. It is important to separate business expenses from her Personal Expenses such as her personal med xpense since she can't write off her personal medical bills as a business expense. Instead, sh deducts medical expenses as a personal itemized deduction on Sch A of 1040. if she needs to prove it as deductible biz related exp thennit is ok. irs may request appropriate med report/doc
i guess you may contact the irs forr more accurate help..
