I have a business I have 10% ownership in in IL. I live in VA for some time. I am not clear on where I need to file personal taxes. I got a K-1 with the corporation address in IL and the shareholders address in VA. My wife and I file jointly in VA and have done so only in VA. Am I suppose to file an IL state tax as well due to the K-1 corporation address being in IL?

Please help as this is confusing. The person we invested with has his accountant that states we do not need to file a personal state tax in IL, but an accountant I spoke with to use for my personal taxes stated that I would be required to.

I need clarification as I know have 2 accountants telling me different things.
