| How does one file an extension request for a C-Corporation?
Dear TaxGuru,
This is my first year of a C corporation, ie 2006, and I have not been able to finalize my books. I was told the due date for a calendar year C corporation is March 15th, 2007. But, there is no way I am going to have all the information ready in order to file my tax return by March 15th, 2007.
How can I go about filing an extension, what are the forms that need to be sent to IRS, and how much extra time does one get? |
