business closing

Hi,

If your business (sole proprietorship) was permanently closed early this year, what address do you put on the schedule C when you file tax next April? Do you put the old business address (where you are no longer there) or do you simply put your home address?

Another question: Just wondering how IRS contacts people who own/had owned a business? Does IRS send correspondence to the business address on the schedule C or do they send it to the home address on the 1040 form?

Thank you so much for taking my questions.
