I just received a notice from the State of NJ that is has no records of my state filing from 2004. I can't imagine that I filed federal (they have that), but not state for that year, it doesn't make sense, they are always done together. The records were left with my father, and he unfortunately no longer has/can find them. How can I correct this? (PS - I lived in NJ but worked in NY that year.)
