According to the Minnesota Department of Revenue, tax returns that were filed Electronically filed are "generally processed within 21 days after the date they were accepted. Paper filed returns are generally processed within 90 days from the date they were mailed."

Taxpayers must enter their Social Security number without any dashes, spaces or periods between numbers, specify the type of the tax return and tax year they wish to inquire.
