Home address in NJ, working in MA

Hi,
In 2014, I lived and went to school in MA (Jan-May). However, I got married in May and changed my official home address to NJ but still worked in MA (June-December). Am I supposed to pay taxes to both MA and NJ? In my W-2, I have paid almost $4000 to MA and only $400 to NJ. When I enter my information into an online software it shows that I owe an additional $2000 to NJ. Please advice as I definitely do not want to pay more state taxes.
Thanks!
